NEW WEBSITE

Fellow Filmspotting nerd and Australian Lynch and I have come up with a new website. Its the best place to go for cool and funny videos hand picked by us. Watch This Vid. Its the best thing ever.

Exams Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

Exams are almost over, and all of the hard ones are out of the way. Chem was a bitch, as was CSE, but film and calc were very easy. I just recieved my grade for my calc exam: 100/110. That, in case you didn't know, is fucking awesome. I am so amped right now. I just thought I would share. I found another twilight zone episode for you to watch. It's another good one...

Exams

Exams are dumb. There is really no reason for them, and they create unnecessary stress. This will be my last post until Saturday the 16th. I'll let you know how the exams go and give you some exciting information. Until then... Good Night and Good Luck.

A little late

Ok, I know I said this would be a daily thing, but I got a little behind. Sorry. Anyways, today we had our first snow in Storrs. Kinda. It was just some lake effect snow, merely a dusting. So, as my friend pointed out, since it melted in about 5 minutes, it doesn't really count. The first snow must be enough to make a snow ball. So I'm still waiting, although I did like the view. Once I get my camera up here I'll post some pictures.

Movie of the Day: Alien 3
Most people don't like this movie, but I do. It's dark, and David Fincher killed off everybody 'cept Ripley in the first five minutes, but that only lends to the atmosphere. You really don't know who to root for. Even Ripley has flaws. It was also nice to see Lance in a sneaky surprise scene towards the end. Overall, I'll give it an 8 out of 10.

Weather

Here in CT, we are just now getting the snow that was in the mid-west earlier today, but not in the form of snow. We are having serious winds and thunderstorms, possibly even a tornado. Which is all well and good, but not on the first day of December. We should have the snow that Chicago got. I want it. I love snow. I also like days like today, but this time of year, I would prefer snow.

MOVIE OF THE DAY
To coincide with the weather, I have picked The Perfect Storm as my MOTD. This is a great movie which, by the end, really pulls at your sad-strings. This is one of the few movies I have seen past 10 in the theater. I think that added to the impact this movie had on me. I later read the book on which this is based. It is an interesting read, there is more factual information about fishing and the events that happened. I highly recommend you see the movie and read the book, if only to make me feel better about myself.
